Codidact - Privacy Policy

By continuing to use the Codidact service after notice of changes have been sent to you or published on the Codidact website, you are consenting to the changes.

Personal Information Collected

We collect information:

  • When you register an account to become a Codidact user (“User”), such as your name, e-mail, and a password.
  • When you add to your profile information about yourself, such as your location, country, occupation, or your private contacts.
  • We use cookies and other technologies to recognize you, customize your experience and serve advertisements.
  • We automatically receive from your internet use information such as your IP address, the URLs of sites from which you arrive or leave the Codidact website, your type of browser, and your ISP.
  • Codidact may collect information through the Codidact website or through the Customer Service website in order to, among other things, accurately categorize and respond to a customer's inquiry and deliver appropriate service levels.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our service, and is not shared with or sold to other organizations for commercial purposes, except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:

  • It is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Terms of Service, or as otherwise required by law.

  • Administer your account with us and customize the service we provide to you.

  • In order to deliver our services, we may share information with third parties. For example, to process subscription payments made by you, we share some of your information with the credit card processing company we use.
  • Enable you to share your information and communicate with other Users.

Your Information Choices

You can:

  • Review, enhance or edit your personal information through your personal profile page.
  • Choose what information you make available through your profile.
  • Tell us to close your Codidact account. If you close your Codidact account, we will remove your name and other personally identifiable information from our publicly viewable database. We may retain certain data contributed by you if we believe it may be necessary to prevent fraud or future abuse, or for legitimate business purposes, such as analysis of aggregated, non-personally identifiable data, or account recovery, if required by law. To request that we close your account and remove your information from the Codidact website, please send your request to customer_service@codidact.com. Please send your request using an email account that you have registered with Codidact under your name. You will receive a response to your request sent to customer_service@codidact.com within five business days of its receipt.

  • Notice of all changes that materially affect ways in which your personal information may be used or shared will be posted in updates to our Privacy Policy.

Security

  • In order to secure your personal information, access to your data on Codidact is password-protected.
  • It is your responsibility to protect the security of your login information. Please note that emails and mails and similar means of communication with other users of Codidact are not encrypted, and we strongly request that you not communicate any confidential information through these means.

Codidact uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run Codidact.
