Than and Then

Even though than and then sound similar, they are different words with different spellings and meanings. Than is a subordinating conjunction used to make comparisons, as in the sentence: “Ron is a faster runner that Jack.” Then can be an adverb that tells about time. It can also mean “therefore.”
